The food here is really good!!! Granted, I normally get the Asada quesadilla and sometimes the carne asada fries. The Argua frescas are super good. I recommend trying the blue frost which is the blue ocean mixed with horchata! 🤤 it’s so good! Sometimes they even have seasonal drinks. I recommend the pumpkin spice one during the fall. The service here is really good as well. The people are really nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to have some Mexican food.

Really great addition to restaurants on University Ave. Matteo's serves delicious Mexican food at reasonable prices. Their agua frescas are the best in town. The carne asada burritos and tacos are delicious. The service was great, staff is friendly and our order was out really quick during their lunch rush. They have expanded their menu from their food truck days. Definitely recommend this food and their Blue Ocean drink.

This place always was a little more expensive but worth it. I ordered a carne asad torta and it was excellent. The meat was well cured with no fat and the bread was fresh and tasty. They are more expensive cause they use fresh ingredients!

Incredibly delicious. They have the best drinks anyone could want. The Agua frescas are just 10/10. We will be back every time we are in the area. It was clean and the girls were very polite, friendly and hard working. 10/10 for their customer service.

The food was aaamazing! We got the chicken flauta plate and carne asada plate. Great flavor and price! The inside is very clean and the staff is very friendly! The pepino water is a must awhile you wait!

Great food and service! This was our first time here so we had the asada, chicken, and brisket tacos with a watermelon Fresca and nitro cold brew. Everything was amazing, we’ll definitely be back!

The food was excellent and the service outstanding. I had never been there so took recommendations from Lesley. She was spot on in the choices. The authentic Mexican drinks were very good. If I am ever in this area again, I will definitely come here!

There is very many restaurants in Las cruces that serve Mexican food; However matteos delivers an absolutely amazing experience to this town. The menu here allows you too choose from a variety of great tasting Mexican plates. The food here is always great no matter what you get as well as the drinks served. The service here is outstanding, they are very nice and extremely helpful and most of the time have my food out quickly. So far I have not had any problems here and I plan to return on a regular basis. For anyone looking for a great meal I reccomend matteos!

Ate lunch and am in love. Super friendly service, fast service, aqua fresca delicious, the steak tacos to die for. The best thing about all this greatness is the price. You must try!

I found the food very good! But, I wish the menu had more information about what is in the dishes. Or maybe have smaller menus with this information about the dishes on them. It would make ordering far easier and possibly quicker. I understand the sleek theme going on, but I feel these little details will help out so much.

Where to start. Piña Colada agua and tacos are the best thing ever. Their burritos are delicious. Also their gorditas you just have to stop by and eat here.

We live in Flagstaff AZ and have been in Las Cruces a few times. The food was delicious and a true homemade flavor we had been looking for. Definitely worth seeking out this food truck and try the chile verde burrito.

Our first try on Fourth of July was an excellent experience! Wonderful staff, patient and very accommodating to customer's needs. Two picnic tables at sight; plus "Matteo's" blankets scattered throughout for more seating areas giving a "picnic" atmosphere. Will definitely be returning to sample/enjoy more menu items!!

Saw them yesterday at the corner of Lohmador and Walton and thought huh, I'mma have to try them soon. Today, I stopped by and got myself a chicharron burrito and a coke. Order was quick and Melody was awesome. Came back to work and enjoyed the burrito! I love how fresh the tortillas were and it reminded me of home!! Green chile was a bit hot for me but, I am a wimp. :D Will definitely be back again for lunch!!!

I made a stop for the first time at Matteo's Mexican food truck today and all I can say is that I'll most definately be back for more! I had the chile colorado and asada burritos and they were delicious, along with a very refreshing and authentic tasting aguita de melon ?? not to mention the customer service was exceptional! Great job!!!

I'm going to break down my meal, because it is worthy: Burrito: overall, pretty freakin' good! Tortilla: I need that recipe. It's not too thick, nor thin. Perfect to hold the filling. AND NOT CHEWY! Yay!!! It's was delicious! Filling: Chicharrones and beans. Not gonna lie, the chicharrones were a tiny bit on the salty side. HOWEVER, I totally got over that super quick. The texture of the chicharrones was perfect! No mushy chicharrones here. And the chile?! I was sniffling just enough to say, "man, that was good!" Props y'all! I'm looking forward to trying the next burrito. P.S. Loved the cucumber-chia-lemonade!!! P. P. S. Burritos are normal size. Don't go expecting a "Go Burger" size burrito.

Friendly service and I supporting local food trucks! The tacos were good, and the horchata was not too sweet it was just right!!

Between the cityhall and the Branigan Library, there is Matteo's Mexican Food truck. We had Tacos, green chile burrito(chile Verde) , and iced beverage #horchata. #aquafresca We will go there again!
